Farrah & Jeremy | Intimate Mountain Wedding | 8.19.2017

Ok, I seriously hit the jackpot with these two people!! Super down to Earth, extremely chill with an amazing vision for their wedding. Even with circumstances like venues backing out on them, they stayed calm and their vision remained the same --Mountains, mountains mountains!! Which, luckily, here in Colorado, we have a TON of. In the end, Farrah and Jeremy decided to have their ceremony and reception at Farrah's Dad's beautiful cabin in Fairplay with many rockin' mountain views along the way!!

Teresa (my awesome second shooter) and I showed up at this really cool modern house in Breckenridge to meet Farrah and Jeremy as they were getting ready. This place was full of such beautiful natural light and a ton of happy people! The two of them had decided to have their first look at an EPIC location in the Colorado Mountains  -- Sapphire Point! When I say epic, I mean epic. This location overlooks Dillon, Co and is seriously the coolest place to do a first look!! We took a few shots here and then took off to head to Boraes Pass, another amazing location!! After taking probably a little too long here, we headed straight to the cabin in Fairplay, Colorado to get these two hitched!! Farrah's Dad and family made such a beautiful area for his daughter and now son-in-law to get married. It was stunning and so perfectly personal! They finished the night with many toasts, a sunset toast, dancing (thanks to DJ Mags) and lots of smiles, laughter and love! We left this wedding with huge smiles on our faces and LOTS of images on our cameras (hence the out of character extra long blog post.) Even though it's been almost half a year since these two got married, Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Mock! Your Colorado Intimate Wedding was perfect and I am so thankful and honored that I got to be a part of it!!

Sam & Garrett | Castle Rock Wedding | 6.17.2017

It feels like forever ago since these two wonderful people got married... when really, it was just a little under six months. That's how on top of my blogging I am!! I guess I can give myself a high five for the fact that I am blogging before Sam and Garrett celebrate their half year anniversary... barely!!!

Sam and Garrett's wedding was my kind of wedding!! Their ceremony was filled with so much love and their reception was filled with so much happiness and TONS of celebration. These two are the kind of people that you meet once and instantly want to become best friends with... so sweet and so kind. It was only fitting that they got married surrounded by so many friends and family members who all celebrated with them into the night.

Jenn and Tyler | Granby Ranch Summer Wedding

Jenn and Tyler's wedding started off a bit different for me seeing as I had never met them before....I always meet a bride and groom somehow before the big day!! We had chatted on the phone (they live out of town now) and gotten to know each other a little that way, but actually seeing each other, their wedding was the first day.

I walked in to meet Jenn and she was so chill and relaxed as she was getting ready, hair all done besides a large roller in her bangs. That roller only came out when she started reading the vows from Tyler that they exchanged before their first look. We then took off to head up the mountain on Granby Ranch. Once we got to the top, Tyler and Jenn had their first look surrounded by a bunch of Aspens. That's when the clouds rolled in.

After their first look and a bunch of bridal party and family pictures, it was time for Jenn and Tyler to get married at the top of the mountain. Colorado had a different plan. At the top of the mountain, we looked around and we were completely surrounded by a storm. The lift was shut down so all of the guests were down at the base and all of Jenn and Tyler's family and bridal party were at the top. After some time passed, it was clear that they weren't going to be able to get the guests up to the top of the mountain. So, instead of busing everyone down from the top to get married at the base, Jenn and Tyler had a small ceremony with just their close friends and family overlooking some breathtaking mountains.

Once they said their first set of I Dos, the amazing staff at Granby Ranch opened the lift just for Jenn and Tyler to ride down. At the the bottom of the lift, they were welcomed by a large group of loved ones cheering. We then went inside and they exchanged vows again and said their second set of I Dos, surrounded by ALL of their friends and family this time.

The Duncans had one of the most wonderfully unique wedding days. While it seemingly didn't turn out how they planned, it happened to turn out even better. Congrats again to the Duncans on their beautiful wedding and a lifetime of excitement and love!!

Brooke and Clay | Steamboat Springs Summer Wedding

During the summer in college, I worked at Fossil Trace Golf Course as a cart girl/server/banquet server/burrito eater. Along with awesomely delicious burritos (I'm telling you, I could have eaten one every single day) I got to work with some pretty great people, which included Brooke. We stocked carts, rolled silverware and set up chairs and tables together then, and spent her wedding day together last summer..

Getting married in a mountain town is almost every Colorado girl's dream And, in my humble opinion, Steamboat is one of the best ones. Brooke and Clay spend lots of time together in Steamboat so it only made sense for these two Colorado natives to tie the knot there. Their first look was the icing on the cake. Clay and I took the gondola up on the mountain and waited for Brooke to do their first look. It felt a bit like we were on the top of the world. After their first look, we traveled on down the mountain and Brooke and Clay got married outside of the Steamboat Grand hotel. These two spent the rest of the night laughing and dancing. Congrats to you both!! Marriage is already looking so wonderful on you!!
